Understand the generation
Separate useful generational patterns from stereotypes, life stage and individual personality.
A two-day Managing Gen Z training program in Kuala Lumpur for managers, HR and business leaders who want younger employees to perform, stay and grow without lowering standards. Led by Generation Z expert, researcher and bestselling author Laura Bas.
Four generations can now be working in the same team, shaped by different experiences of work, communication, authority and career.
Managers can easily get caught between two extremes: tightening control and losing engagement, or over-accommodating and weakening accountability.
The better approach is understanding what shapes younger employees while keeping expectations, boundaries and performance standards clear.
These two days turn Generation Z research into practical leadership actions managers can use immediately.
Understand the generation, attract and onboard young talent, strengthen retention and lead with clearer expectations, feedback and accountability.
Separate useful generational patterns from stereotypes, life stage and individual personality.
Review recruitment, employer branding and onboarding through the eyes of a young professional.
Understand how connection, recognition, autonomy, growth and trust influence engagement.
Set expectations, define outcomes and create freedom within clear boundaries.
Give useful feedback while developing independent judgment and maintaining responsibility for performance.
Build psychological safety without avoiding difficult conversations, boundaries or underperformance.
